guidelines, rules, and regulations
1. All horses shown must be either full-blooded foundation-bred Appaloosas, or have one Appaloosa and one of the following parents: Quarter Horse, Thoroughbred, or a breed of Sporthorse.
2. If a horse does not have Appaloosa characteristics, it may still be shown. As long as its parentage has been verified to having at least one Appaloosa, then the horse may be shown.
3. All horses wishing to be shown by an owner must have a sire and dam. This includes created horses; they must have a sire and dam in order to verify Appaloosa heritage.
4. Shows will be held monthly to provide all RAA horses a chance to earn points to go towards the year-end awards.
5. All other Riata rules apply.
Please note: The RAA is not a valid association for horses in real life. It is strictly for a simulation game called Riata. To learn more about Riata, click on the link in the navigation bar at the top right-hand corner of the page.
